Operation No to #COVID19; Momo East M.P Visits Mbengwi Council with Kits
The Member of Parliament for Momo East constituency, honourable Injoh Foo Ngang Prodencia has donated a consignment of anti COVID19 kits, precisely tap buckets worth 500.000F to the Mbengwi council. The items, 50 tap buckets of 50 litres each and 50 wash hand bowls were handed to the council, Saturday May 2nd 2020.

Following the outbreak of the global pandemic, a Meta anti COVID19 response plan was initiated by professor Fon Wilfred Mbacham, a titular of public health biotechnology. The plan has so far seen Meta sons and daughters from round the globe chipping out huge chunks of money and widow's mite to support the campaign to roll out COVID19 from the entire clan by being proactive to prevent than cure.

Politicians, business magnets, farmers, doctors and even the man on the street have each been contributing their own quota to support the initiative. All financial contributions are converted into kind, reason why the member of parliament decided to match her words with action. She had inscribed her name on the records with 500.000F and personally came to Mbengwi to fulfil her promise.

On seat to receive the donation was Ndangsa Kennedy Akam, mayor of the Mbengwi council. Before handing over the donation, the MP held a working session with a team of volunteers set up to do ground works in terms of executing the project, headed by the former mayor of the Mbengwi Council, Tebe Beatrice. During the session, the members were encouraged not to relent their efforts to ensure the items reach their intended destination, the nukes and crannies of all the over 30 villages that make up the Meta clan.

In addition to her package, the MP also handed a carton of face masks worth 1.800.000F sent by a friend of hers, a certain Pascal Dissock that she contacted to support the initiative. The execution phase of the Meta anti COVID19 plan will soon commence in the days ahead and upon completion, thousands of locals would've benefitted face masks and all villages will have tap buckets, soap and other kits.
